Confocal microscopy and advanced microscopy techniques were used for nanoparticles analysis. The nanoparticles were localized in the cells and their intracellular organels. Two fluorescence dyes were used to visualise nanoparticles and organels. The colocalization was used to separate nanoparticles from organels in 2D images and 3D stacks.
