Induction machines are one of the most widely used rotating electrical machines. They find application in almost all industries and are manufactured in a wide range of outputs. At present, the demands to electrical machines are increasing due to the mechanical torque, total harmonic distortion (THD), and especially efficiency, cost, material consumption and compliance with the requirements of ecology. This paper is focused on stator slot size identification to increasing mechanical torque and influence to the magnetic flux density of three-phase induction machine.
