An accumulator state of charge (SOC) is becoming an increasingly important information in many applications using accumulators as sources of electric energy. The distribution internal resistance and total charge passed on the surface of lead-acid accumulator electrodes in the course of discharge was determined mathematically by using the equivalent circuit method. Target of this work is limitation of degradation mechanisms of lead-acid cells, that is presented by distribution of the internal resistance and the charge passed. The results are presented in the form of 3-D diagrams for different states of discharge.
