The multireference configuration interaction (MRCI) method was combined with the aug-cc-pVQZ basis set to obtain the geometries of an set of low-lying excited states of SF2, SF2+ and SF2-. The resulting geometries was used for complete basis set estimation limit of energies employing aug-cc-pVXZ basis set, where X=2,3,4,5. The obtained values of excitation energies fit closely those for which the experimental data were available.
