The paper deals with the engineer design of the levitation magnet for transport systems or magnetic bearings. The optimal solution for the minimum whole volume of iron and copper is showed. The optimisation has been based on the idea, that the all linear dimensions of the magnet are expressed as multiples of the longitude module. It allows to compare the technical utility features of the different dimension magnets with different modules.
