A simple one-dimensional model of the Resistive Plate Chamber is analyzed in order to better understand to the processes which occur in the numerical modeling of the three-dimensional field in the chamber. It is shown, which part of the moving charge is to be taken into account and what influence on the total current through the chamber has the resistive plate finite conductivity. A correct way of Finite Element model discretization is discussed in conclusion.
