Dla centobežnogo nasosa očeň važno obespečiť ustojčivost (Y,Q) charakteristiky. The instability is characterized by two possible flow rates for just one value of delivery height. This situation can result in strong self-induced vibrations of the hydraulic system accompanied by noise. This condition is unacceptable because of the operational reliability and environmental issues. Therefore it is necessary to search for the cause of instability. The presented investigation stresses the role of mechanical energy dissipation near the best efficiency point in the whole process.
