Článek obsahuje popis různých modifikací problému okružních jízd. Druhá část je zaměřena na algoritmy rojové inteligence, např. včelí algoritmus, optimalizaci pomocí mravenčí kolonie apod. Several algorithms for solving of many optimization problems are based on study of biological systems behaviour in nature. Ants, bees, birds, fishes or bacteria do not have any central control of the individual behaviour. Behaviour typical for whole colony follows from interaction between individuals and between individual and environment. Algorithms for swarm-based optimization are based on colony behaviour and are used for difficult optimization problems. These algorithms can be successfully used for many well-known optimization problems like travelling salesman problem and vehicle routing problem.
