The paper describes measurements of aerated flow of aqueous media using of modern methods PIV (Partical Image Velocimetry) and EIS (Electric Impedance Spectrometry), which are applied at the Water Management Research Laboratory (LVV) of Institute of Water Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Brno University of Technology. The special experimental sites, which represented two vessels filled with water, were measured for three types of aeration. Another experiment was focused on the ability of methods to monitor the air content in water. Measurements were carried out at time intervals of the forced aeration environment.
