dcterms:description
The influence of two finishing techniques and direction of compaction on the pore structure of concrete surface layer was studied by means of mercury intrusion porosimetry. The cumulative pore volume significantly decreases from the surface inwards the concrete where small gel pores predominate. Finishing technique influences the pore distribution mainly directly on the surface that is demonstrated by variation in amount of capillary pores.
