The main task of anti-noise walls is to reduce intensity of sonic waves propagating from the source of noise. Anti-noise walls are usually built in highly exposed locations (traffic, pollution, corrosive substances) and it is very often necessary to rehabilitate them after some time. The proposed solution uses special wooden shaped parts. Noise-absorbing layer was made from specially designed cement-bonded wood-chips and the shape was designed so that the final anti-noise wall is of the highest soundproofing class possible. The special shaped wooden parts can be used for rehabilitation of anti-noise walls in road and railway construction and for reinstating of tunnels and tunnel mouths.
