This work describes the course of the experiment aimed to microwave (MW) desiccation of masonry by MW plug-in bar antenna applied to various types of brickwork. Experiment was carried on in the masonry manufactured from solid bricks, modern hollow brick form-pieces THERM and from aerated concrete blocks YTONG. Results of this experiment should determine what type of MW desiccation method is the best for the given material. The main criterion for this propriety was effectiveness (economical) of MW desiccation represented by massic loss of moisture. Článek popisuje experiment, jehož cílem bylo stanovení účinnosti MW vysoušení využívající pro přenos MW záření do stavebního materiálu MW tyčovou anténu. Jednotlivé výsledky byly následně porovnávány (byla využita metoda komparace) s teoretickými výsledky dle vztahu pro přibližné předběžné stanovení doby MW vysoušení daného druhu zdiva.
