dcterms:description
The security of the European Union is directly dependent on the position, respectively stability and prosperity, of its neighbors. Good economic position of countries in the surrounding regions is also a good position for the domestic economy and thus for the stability and security generally. The European Union is closest to the African Union. While the EU is quite relatively coherent group of countries, the African Union consists of several quite distinct regions. Many of these regions are not only dangerous for the surrounding regions of the African Union, but security problems can just as well as other phenomena very easy to pour from one region to another, and it does not mean inside the only one continent. African continent by many different authors and researchers has been the most explosive continent full of armed conflicts. In this paper, pointed to two neighboring regions with similar explosive characteristics, which are from each other on the basis of various (mostly economic)indicators also significantly different. The first section explains the reasons which led the authors to select regions and countries and in the second part is processed on the basis of the data and indicators and their characteristic differences.
