The main attention of our research was focused on the pigment synthesis based on the high defective modification of Bi2O3 doped by RE ions (Bi2(1-x)RE2xO3 , where x = 0.5 and RE = Y, La, Ce, Nd, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu). The ceramic route of preparation was employed for synthesis and further investigation of samples color, phase composition, thermal stability and particles size distribution was performed as well.
