The aim of this article is to verify antifungal effects of potential antimicrobial coatings and the shelf-life stability of tested coatings. These tested coatings are used as interior coatings and they are based on the aqueous acrylic dispersion and different additives. Antimicrobial ability, shelf-life stability and photoactivity were assumed in these paints based on nano zinc oxide and organic biocide. The microbial cultures from Collection of University Pardubice were used. The Penicillium chrysogenum and Aspergillus niger were choose as a test mold. The great fungi inhibition results show both of coatings and they are antimicrobial active after 12 months of shelf stability.
