The paper studies the effect of chemical type of the pigments synthetized on the anticorrosion efficiency. The mixed metal oxides a general formula corresponding to AB2O4 were prepared and investigated with respect to their anticorrosive activities in organic coatings. Further there have been evaluated the properties of polyphosphates as anticorrosion pigments. The results obtained show high anticorrosion activities of the mixed metal oxides. The effect of cation in pigments on the corrosion inhibition was confirmed. Článek se zabývá studiem efektu chemického typu syntetizovaných pigmentů na jejich antikorozní účinnost. Směsné oxidy kovů obecného vzorce AB2O4 byly připraveny a zkoumány z hlediska antikorozní schopnosti v organických povlacích. Dále byly vyhodnoceny vlastnosti polyfosforečnanů jako antikorozních pigmentů. Výsledky ukazují na vysokou antikorozní aktivitu směsných oxidů. Efekt kationtu na inhibici koroze byl potvrzen.
