Metallocene complexes are for their properties very closely examined in recent years. These complexes, which are used for coatings drying, were not examined from industrial point of view, nor were they examined from research point of view. Both ferrocene and its methyl derivatives were synthesized and consequently observed with FTIR spectroscopy. The influence of methyl groups on ferrocene on the process of drying of ethyl linoleate used as a model system is the issue of this paper. Metalocenové komplexy jsou pro své vlastnosti v posledních letech více studovány. Complexy používané v práci pro skativaci organických povlaků nejsou poživány v průmyslové praxi. Účinst sikativace pomocí ferocenu ajeho derivátů byla studována pomocí FTIR spektroskopie. Byl vypracován model sikativace ethyl linolátu pomocí připravených derivátů ferocenu.
