Znalost pevnostních a vazebných vlastností buničin používaných při výrobě papíru hraje klíčovou roli při výrobě papíru. Obě tyto vlastnosti je možné určit pomocí tzv. rheosedimentační metody, tj. sledováním sedimentace zředěné papírenské suspenze vhodných vlastností. Dva parametry získané touto metodou, tj. standardní rychlosti sedimentace vs a konečné koncentrace sedimentu ck , pak určují geometrii, strukturní a mechanické vlastnosti a vazebné schopnosti sledované vlákniny v mokrém stavu. Pomocí rheosedimentace byl ukázán negativní vliv drcení buničiny na její vazebné schopnosti, ke kterému dochází např. při vysokokonzistentním mletí. The knowledge of strength and bonding properties of pulp fibres is key demand in well controlled papermaking process. Both of these demands it is possible to estimate by so called rheosedimentation method, i.e. by observation and evaluation of typical phenomenon of diluted pulp slurries with appropriate papermaking properties during their sedimentation. Both received the standard velocity of rheosedimentation, vs and final concentration of sediment, ck are characteristic parameters of pulp fibres depending on their geometry, structure and mechanical properties in wet state and bonding abilities. It was also showed by help of rheosedimentation disturbing effect of pulp beating at dry state on its bonding abilities, e.g. during high consistency refining.
