At present there are two trends in invasive encephalographic monitoring in patiens suffering from pharmacoresistant epilepsy - towards reduction of patiens selected for invasive monitoring because of advanced imaging techniques implementation and on the other side growing number of the most difficult patients indicated for epilepsy surgery. The choice of monitoring technique depends on each center experience and available facilities. The aim of the paper is to prezent the experience with Talairach's technique of intracerebral electrodes implantation as adapted for the use in the era of computer planning software.
