The teachers choice seem to be very often random, offhand, and strongly influenced by the accessibility of the event, in terms of time, location, and costs, by colleagues references, and by the attractiveness of the subject matter. Autorky popisují, jak uitelé rozumjí pojmu další vzdlávání, jaké formy dalšího vzdlávání preferují a jaká mže být jejich cesta k volb vzdlávací akce. Volby vzdlávací akce uiteli bývá mnohdy náhodná a siln ovlivnná dostupností nabídky, dobou konání akce, místem, cenou, referencemi koleg a atraktivním obsahem akce.
