In present work surface activation of alumina surface was performed using plasma treatment in Dielectric Coplanar Surface Barrier Discharge (DCSBD) in air atmosphere. Changes in surface properties after plasma treatment were measured by contact angle measurements. Also parameters of plasma treatment (distance between coplanar electrode and sample, treatment time and plasma power) were optimized to get the maximum effect.
