Slow chlorophyll fluorescence kinetics with quenching analysis, rapid light-response curves of photosynthesis were used to assess response of two lichen species to temperature fall (from 22 to 5 degC) and gradual thalli desiccation (from full hydration (100%) to dry state (0 % of relative water content)).
