dcterms:description
Brassinosteroids (BRs)are organic compounds with structure based on polyhydroxylated sterols, which show multiple effects on plant physiology, developlment and growth and are possibly involved in the regulation of photosynthesis. This chapter summarizes the current knowledge on BRs effects on photosynthetic organelles, i.e. chloroplasts, and on various components of photosynthetic apparatus.
