V této studii byly charakterizovány změny v hematologickém profilu, změny v zastoupení subpopulací lymfocytů a nespecifické proliferační aktivitě lymfocytů z různých lymfoidních kompartmentů králíků 2., 4., 6., 9. a 11. den po experimentální infekci virem myxomatózy. Hematologické změny zahrnovaly leukopénii se signifikantní lymfopénii, neutrofilii, monocytózou a eosinopénia. Pokles T lymfocytů včetně CD4+ a CD8+ a vzestup CD79a+ byl pozorován v drénující popliteální mízní uzlině 4 dny po inokulaci viru. Srovnatelné změny byly detekovány v ostatních lymfoidních kompartmentech od 6. dne. Od 9. dne, ve všech lymfocytárních kompartmentech kromě drénující popliteální uzliny, se zastoupení subpopulací lymfocytů vracelo na původní hodnoty. Naopak, proliferační aktivita lymfocytů byla signifikantně snížená od 4. dne a zůstala redukovaná až do konce experimentu. Virus byl detekovatelný v testovaných orgánech vždy dříve než nastaly změny v distribuci lymfocytů nebo v jejich aktivitě. In this study changes in haematological profile, changes in lymphocyte subset distribution and proliferation activity of lymphocytes from different lymphoid compartments on the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th and 11th day after experimental infection of rabbits with myxoma virus was characterised. Haematological changes included moderate leucopenia with significant lymphopenia, neutrophilia, monocytosis and eosinopenia. A decrease of T and increase of CD79alpha+ were observed in draining popliteal lymph node 4 days after virus inoculation. From day 6, comparable changes were seen in other lymphoid compartments. From day 9, the mentioned lymphocyte subsets tended to reach their original state in all lymphocyte compartments except draining popliteal lymph node. On the other hand, proliferation activity of lymphocytes was significantly reduced from day 4 until the end of experiment. Presence of virus in respective lymphoid compartments preceded changes in lymphocyte subset distribution or lymphocyte activity.
