The possibility to use chitosan as an protective biocontrol agent against Botrytis cinerea infection was tested in lab-test with leaves inoculated with an mixture with spores and hyphae of pathegene. Four wine varieties Blaufrankish, Saint Laurent and their hybrids - Zweigeltrebe and André were selected for lab tests. The results indicated the retardation of pathogenes growth and delay of visible damage when the treatment was applied before infection. Možnosti využití chitosanu k ochraně proti infekci Botrytis cinerea byly testovány laboratorním testem na listech inokulovaných směsí spor a hyf patogena. K testům byly vybrány čtyři moštové odrůdy, Frankovka, Svatovavřinecké a jejich kříženci Zweigeltrebe a André. Výsledek testu svědčí o retardaci růstu patogenních hyf v případě protektivního použití přípravku.
