dcterms:description
The Příšov locality (Plzeň Basin) yielded 11 plant taxa. Cordaites sp., Nemejcopteris feminaeformis (Schlotheim) Barthel and Sphenophyllum oblongifolium (Germar et Kaulfuss) Unger dominate here. The remaining species are as follows: Sphenophyllum verticillatum (Schlotheim), Bowmanites sp., Annularia sphenophylloides Zenker, A. stellata (Schlotheim), Calamites sp., Pecopteris arborescens (Schlotheim), P. cyathea (Schlotheim), P. hemitelioides Brongniart, P. polymorpha Brongniart, P. unita Brongniart and Poacordaites sp. This assemblage is typical for Stephanian B. Namely Nemejcopteris feminaeformis (Schlotheim) Barthel is considered as Stephanian index species known from the Barruelian.
