Temporal trends in the isotope composition of sulfate oxygen were investigated in two forested catchments in the Czech Republuc similar in elevation, mean annual temperature and precipitation totals. One of these sites was situated mere 5 km from major coal-fired power stations, the other one was situated in a relatively unpolluted area 150 km from the power stations. Současné trendy v dynamice izotopů kyslíku v sulfátech byly studovány na dvou lesních povodích v České republice, která mají stejnou nadmořskou výšku, podobnou průměrnou roční teplotu a úhrn srážek. Jedno z povodí leží 5 km od tepelné uhelné elektrárny, druhé v relativně čisté oblasti, 150 km od elektrárny.
