This paper describes the methodology of fatigue testing which has been using at the Department of Composite Technology in VZLÚ in Prague. There are also described the results of experimental measurements of E – Glass / Epoxy laminate with a plain weave of reinforcement. The number of cycles to failure, residual strength and stiffness reduction were observed during the experiments. Future development of fatigue calculations is based mainly in the use of experimental data to identify the different degradation models and their implementation to finite element method software. This methodology has already been tested for CSM (Continuous Strand Mat) composite and the results of these calculations are also presented.
