Větrný tunel se simulací mezní vrstvy byl použit ke studiu okrajových podmínek infiltrace vzduchu do budov a jejich přirozené ventilace. Byly zkoumány na jednoduchém 2D modelu sídlištní budovy při předměstském typu větrné expozice. Byla presentována polestřední rychlosti a rozložení středního tlaku a jejich statistické charakteristiky. Pro první druh výsledků bylo použito sofistikované experimentální metody známé jako Partical Image Velocimetry. The boundary layer wind tunnel was exploited for study of boundary conditions of air infiltration or natural ventilation into buildings. They were investigated on simple 2D model of estate building at suburb wind exposure. Field of mean velocity and pressure distribution on the building were presented, as well as their statistical characteristics. Advanced experimental method of Partical Image Velocimetry was used for the first item.
