The problem of strain gage application on the composite material emanates from typical properties of this material. The aim of this work is to analyse the effect of localised heating on the true strain value in the structure. At the same time the projecthas been focused on the comparison between measurement on the free surface and stress calculation through the thickness of real composite material. The results from strain gage measurement in relation to minimizing of strain gage measurement error willbe assumed as base value for comparison with results from FEA solution. This work is closely related to problems investigated in VZLU at the present time. Problém aplikace tenzometrických snímačů na kompozitní materiály vychází z typických vlastností těchto materiálů. Cílem této práce je analýza vlivu lokálního ohřevu na měření deformace konstrukce. Dále je projekt zaměřen na porovnání měření na volném povrchu s napěťovou analýzou přes tloušťku materiálu. Výsledky měření jsou dány do vztahu s analýzou MKP pro minimalizaci chyb měření. The problem of strain gage application on the composite material emanates from typical properties of this material.
