Explanation of some astronomic problems needs expertise of chemists and the Action CM0805 should be helpful in this respect. Chemical reactions in cosmos proceed differently from those in the Earth atmosphere because of low or high temperature, low pressure and exposure to radiation of different kind. Both laboratories engaged in the project claim techniques by which these off-terrestrial conditions can be simulated and the chemical reactions so affected modelled.
