Mezi hlavní cíle spolupráce patří zejména testování Standardního modelu elementárních částic na LHC (Large Hadron Collider), novém urychlovači protonů v CERN, evropské laboratoři pro jaderný výzkum, při těžišťových energiích 14 TeV. Main scope of the project is to provide the opportunity for collaboration between Prague and CEA Saclay groups in preparation for future diffractive physics program at LHC. The two groups are already active in this field - they are two major proponents of new forward proton detectors for ATLAS detector at LHC. There is already strong collaboration between the two groups including student exchanges and common scientific papers. We hope that this project will allow us to continue the cooperation in the same spirit. The support will be used to orginized small meetings between our groups including support for young researchers and new students.
