Hlavním cílem výzkumu je nově moderně zpracovat korespondenci Boženy Němcové jako celek (tj. dopisy nejen napsané, ale i přijaté B. Němcovou) a vytvořit rukopis úplné korespondence připravený pro kritické vydání, tedy s příslušným aparátem komentářů a vysvětlivek. Zpracování korespondence, interdisciplinárně pojaté, přinese vhled do jazykového, literárního i běžného života v letech 1847-1862 a umožní uskutečnění druhého cíle výzkumu, kterým je analýza korespondence z hledisek zejména jazykovědných, literárně historických a literárně teoretických (zaměřená především na jazyk poloviny 19. století, dobové komunikační normy a normy epistolárního stylu). Zpracování zároveň zpřístupní tento zajímavý soubor i zájemcům z jiných oborů, např. historikům. Soubor textů dopisů bude v elektronické podobě poskytnut Českému národnímu korpusu. The main goal of the research is to collect and process newly and in a modern way Božena Němcová´s correspondence as a whole (i. e. not only letters written, but also received by B. Němcová) and to prepare a manuscript of the whole correspondence that would be ready for a critical edition, i.e. with all appropriate commentaries etc. The work, organized interdisciplinarly, will bring an insight into language, literary and ordinary life in the years 1847-1862. It will also enable the second goal of the research - the analysis of the correspondence particularly from the standpoint of linguistics, literary history and literary theory (it will concentrate mainly on the language of the middle of the 19th century and communicative and epistolary norms of that time). The research will also make the correspondence available for those interested from other fields, e. g. historians. The collection of the texts in electronic version will be given to Czech national corpus, too.
