"Projekt zpracovává českou i regionální historiografií dosud prakticky opomíjené téma, nacházející se na pomezí hospodářských dějin, dějin správy a politicko-národnostních dějin: problematiku obchodní a živnostenské komory v Hradci Králové, jejího zrodu apůsobení. V první rovině jde o poznání politických a hospodářských pohnutek 60 let trvajícího úsilí východočeských politiků a podnikatelů o vznik této komory. V druhé rovině jde zejména o zmapování politických a hospodářských zásahů této nacionálně""české"" obchodní komory ve prospěch převážně českých podnikatelů severovýchodních Čech i jejího celkového působení. Téma má nezastupitelný význam pro poznání dějin podnikání ve východních Čechách v době 2. poloviny 19. a 1. poloviny 20. století.Posouzení nacionálního aspektu dlouhého procesu vzniku komory a jejího následného působení má také velký význam pro moderní zhodnocení česko-německých vztahů ve východočeském regionu. Ty zde byly díky smíšenému charakteru území zvláště citlivé. Kombinace" The Commercial and Trade Chamber in Hradec Králové - protector of economic and national political interests of North East Bohemian entrepreneurs; The Project deals with the topic which was omitted by the Czech and regional historiography until now. Theresearch area is situated between the economic, administrative and national history, focusing on origins and activities of the Commercial and Trade Chamber in Hradec Králové. First of all, the research investigates political and economic motives of EastBohemian politicians and entrepreneurs striving for founding such a Chamber during 60 years. Secondly, the political and economic impact of this Czech national trade Chamber in favour of Czech entrepreneurs is studied as well as other activitiesdeveloped inNorth Eastern Bohemia. The research has crucial importance for the history of enterprising activities in Eastern Bohemia in the second half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century.
