"Podstatou projektu je vydání knihy ""Deterministický chaos a jeho fyzikální aplikace"" autorů L. Krlína, J. Horáka a A. Raidla.Kniha se zabývá moderní vědní disciplinou - teorií deterministického chaosu. Kromě nezbytného teoretického výkladu se autoři zaměřují na její fyzikální aplikace, zejména ve fyzice plazmatu, hydrodynamice, modelech všeobecné cirkulace atmosféry a matematické teorii klimatu. V práci je věnována pozornost i nelineární analýze chaotických signálů získaných experimentální cestou.Publikace je cílena nejen na skupinu vědeckých pracovníků s fyzikálním zaměřením na vysokých školách univerzitního i technického směru, ale je určena i studentům a doktorandům. Dílo je zároveň napsáno dostatečně obecně tak, aby v něm nalezli cennéinformace i čtenáři z jiných vědních disciplín, popřípadě ti, kteří se zajímají o teorii deterministického chaosu nebo teorii dynamických systémů jako takovou.
