Description	The subject of the research is the role of university as the highest grade of education system and an important agent influencing the overall development of a society. The present state and links between successive grades of education system at the agricultural and forestry schools are inquired. The changes in the content of education, the specialisation and mutual linkage between individual grades of education sustem in relation with the qualification of graduates according to criteria of EU are characterised. The state and the level of the present information system for agriculture, forestry and food processing industry, the structure and the requirements of recipients are overhauled. The research is being held in cooperation with the Centre ofFurther Education and Advisory Service at the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague and (CUA) foreign universities. The acquired results will be applied for a further use in the optimising of the agricultural information system provided by the univ. (en) Predmetem výzkumného zámeru je role univerzity jako nejvyššího stupne vzdelávací soustavy a významného cinitele ovlivnujícího celkový rozvoj spolecnosti. Je zkoumán soucasný stav a vazby mezi jednotlivými stupni vzdelávací soustavy v oblasti zemedelskéhoa lesnického školství. Jsou charakterizovány nezbytné změny v obsahu, zaměření a vzájemné propojenosti jednotlivých stupnů vzdělávací soustavy ve vztahu ke kvalifikačním předpokladům absolventů podle kritérií zemí Evropské Unie. Je zjištován stav a úroveň současného informačního systému pro zemědělství, lesnictví a zpracovatelský průmysl, funkčnost jeho komponent a skladba a požadavky příjemců informací. Jsou zkoumány úloha, postavení a aktivity univerzity, funkčnost v zemědělském informačním systému. Výsledky budou využity pro zkvalitnění informačního systému zajištovaného univerzitou a dalšími vzdělávacími subjekty.
