  • This work deals with the study of highly filled polymers (feedstocks), where the main polymer component is a polyethylene glycol (PEG). The effect of PEG with different molecular weigh on flow properties were investigated in this study. Examined feedstocks contain superalloy Inconel 718 powder and polymer binder consists of three components: PEG with molecular weight (in a range of 1 500 – 20 000), polymethyl methacrylate and small amount of stearic acid to facilitate lubrification. Powder loading as well as concentration of binder components for all feedstocks is the same. Viscosity and its sensitivity to temperature were investigated using capillary rheometer. The results showed differences in temperature sensitivity of feedstocks at higher shear rates.
