Description	The paper focuses of social services in the Slovak Republic in force and assist in solving various social problems and conflicts. The figuring social domains in which we focus in this paper are the ,,social safety net%22 and ,,Solidarity%22, ,,social inclusion%22, which will prioritize the factors within the social asistance aimed with emphasis at the Roma minority. (en) Príspevok se zameriava na sociálne služby ako jeden z nástrojov pomoci v riešení nepriaznivej sociálnej udalosti. Sústredime sa na sociálne služby poskytované v zmysle platnej legislatívy na území Slovenskej republiky zákona č. 448/2008 Z. z. o sociálnych službách. Figurujúcimi doménami v sociálnej oblasti na ktoré sa zameriavame v príspevku sú %22Záchranná sociálna sieť%22, %22Solidarita%22, %22Sociálna inklúzia%22, ktoré považujeme za prioritné činitele v rámci sociálnej pomoci s akcentom na rómske minority.
