| - Cílem monografie je prezentovat závěry a zkušenosti vyplývající z výzkumné činnosti v oblasti ochrany kritické infrastruktury. Text je zaměřen na oblast energetiky a to i ve vztahu k postavení a vazbám této oblasti kritické infrastruktury na systému kritické infrastruktury jako celku. Úvodní část je koncipována jako právní vymezení a ohraničení problematiky ochrany kritické infrastruktury, na které navazuje dekompozice a popis oblasti energetiky. Následně jsou v textu prezentovány přístupy a metodiky pro analýzu rizik a to od těch obecně využitelných až po ty oblastně specifické. Závěrečná kapitola pojednává a prezentuje přístupy k zajištění popřípadě zvýšení ochrany kritické infrastruktury, které byly, resp. jsou aplikovatelné na vybranou oblast kritické infrastruktury. Prezentované poznatky by měly umožnit porozumění této problematice, popřípadě doporučit, které oblasti zabezpečení mají vliv na celkovou míru bezpečnosti a ochrany ve vybrané oblasti kritické infrastruktury.

- The aim of the monograph is to present the findings and experiences resulting from the research activities in the field of critical infrastructure protection. The text is focused on the energy sector mostly in relation to the status and relationships of this critical infrastructure sector to critical infrastructure system. The first part is designed as legal issues of critical infrastructure protection border demarcation, which is followed by a description of the decomposition of energy sector. Subsequently, the text presented approaches and methodologies for risk analysis, from those which are generally usable to the sectorial specific. The final chapter discusses and presents approaches to ensure or enhance the critical infrastructure protection, that were respectively are applicable to the selected critical infrastructure area. The findings should facilitate the understanding of the issues or recommendations, which areas of security have significant impact on the overall level of security and protection in selected critical infrastructure area.
