| - Příspěvek přibližuje problematiku bezpečnosti ICT a seznamuje se základními principy a pojmy z této oblasti. Bezpečnost ICT je důležitá součást počítačové vědy, zaměřené na aktuální rizika používání ICT v počítačových sítích a vznikající spolu s nárůstem uživatelů, majících přístup do sítě internetu. Vzhledem ke stále se zvětšujícímu počtu vzájemně propojených počítačů existuje reálná možnost, že přes všechna preventivní opatření dojde nejen k narušení bezpečnosti dat uložených v počítači, ale zejména k tomu, že počítač je napaden a zneužit k dalším útokům. V posledních letech prudce stoupá počet bezpečnostních incidentů, kterých se uživatelé dopouštějí svou nedbalostí, neznalostí nebo úmyslně. Při zjištění vzniklého bezpečnostního incidentu je nejdůležitější rychlá a adekvátní reakce. Příspěvek seznamuje čtenáře s pojmem informační bezpečnost, co zahrnuje, jak se projevuje. Rovněž jsou zmíněny možné formy bezpečnostních incidentů a způsoby jejich řešení. Na druhou stranu se příspěvek zaměřuje na to, (cs)
- This article presents a general overview of information and communication security and its core concepts. ICT security is an important field of computer science concerned with the control of risks related to use of computers. This paper speaks about basic rules and describes how these can be applied to achieve network and computer security. The field of information security has grown and evolved significantly in recent years. As a career choice there are many ways of gaining entry into the field. It offers many areas for specialization including Information Systems Auditing, Business Continuity Planning and Digital Forensics Science, to name a few. Most of the paper is dedicated to end-users, their most frequent mistakes and lack of knowledge as the end-user is crucial for computer security.
