Description	V uplynulých deseti letech došlo k výrazným a nepřehlédnutelným změnám jak v ekonomice, v podnikání, tak i ve způsobu řízení vyspělého světa. Nová ekonomika v moderních zemích vytlačuje %22ekonomiku starou%22, která se na globálních trzích stává nefunkční. %22Nová ekonomika%22 vznikla spíše spontánně, neplánovaně, bez přímého projektu, jako vedlejší produkt rozvoje informačních technologií, které se staly nástrojem pro eliminaci času potřebného k překonávání rozsáhlých prostorů globálního trhu. Česká republikase plně zapojila do procesu využívání nových informačních a telekomunikačních technologií. Rapid rises in Information and Communication technologies, and the expansion of the Internet network have affected Czech macro-economic policies, firms and their new forms of doing business, and of households and their new opportunities to acquire new information, observations, and thereby increased their knowledge skills. This paper explores the use of the Internet as a communication and information channel in a Czech context. The findings demonstrate that, when compared with other developed economies, such firms have highly developed ICT systems. However, the same may not be said of the Czech population at large, for which Internet usage is markedly lower than that of other the most developed countries of the world. (en)
