  • MulticomponentparticlesofMnZnferrite and polyaniline (MnZnPANIh) withcore-shellstructureweresynthesized by oxidativepolymerizationofaniline in thepresenceofferrite. A portion of the PANI-coated ferrite powder was suspended in an excess of 1 M ammonium hydroxide. The ammonia caused the deprotonation of the conducting polymer coating to the non-conducting PANI base (MnZnPANIb) . Electrical and magnetic properties of composites based on pressed MnZnPANIh and MnZnPANIb powderhavebeeninvestigated. TheDC-conductivityofcompositesisdetermined by conductivityofferrite, whereasthemaincontribution to AC-conductivityisfrominterfacialpolarization. Composites are significantlydifferent in thecoercivity, thefrequenciesofferromagneticresonance, and thermal stability ofthemagneticpermeability. This study is important from the standpoint of the synthesis of multicomponent magnetic particles and composites thereof with controllable and reproducible electromagnetic properties.
