Description	Reverse engineering is now considered one of technologies for improving the quality of products and manufacturing equipment. It is a technology to provide business benefits in shortening the product development cycle. For mechanical parts, this process involves scanning the geometry of an existing part, creating a geometric model of the part from these data, and then this model which can be repaired or improved turns out to realistic part. This paper shows that using two-dimensional laser CNC scanner with appropriate software can give acceptable results as more dimensional laser. These received data should be helpful and advantageous for using of 2D scanners.
