  • The effects of ionic surfactants and organic solvents on the separation and uniformly dispersed of multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in silicone matrix were investigated. Electromagnetic properties of MWCNT/silicone nanocomposites were studied with the goal to use it for design of radio-absorber materials. The MWCNTs were dispersed in an aquaeous suspension containing an anionic surfactant DBSA (dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid) and cationic surfactant CTAB (cetyltrimethyl amonium bromid) with different ratios and time conditions of sonication.
