  • Příspěvek publikuje poznatky z výzkumu obrábění mikrostruktur do polymerních materiálů použitím CO2 laseru. Tento laser byl určen pro komerční gravírování a popis dárkových předmětů. Vhodná kombinace nastavení výstupních parametrů může vytvářet v polymeru komplex mikrostruktur během několika sekund. Pro tyto mikrostruktury byly převážně používány UV a excimerové lasery. Použití CO2 laseru zaručuje nižší provozní náklady.Dobrým příkladem použití CO2 laseru jako alternativy za UV a excimerové lasery jsou mikrofluidní systémy ( v oblasti ekologie, medicíny).Rovněž je tato technologie výhodnou alternativou dalších technologíí mokroobrábění (mikrovstřikování, mikrotvarování (cs)
  • In this studies are presented laser workability and results using CO2 laser set-up on the polymer material, which was originally designed to mark object with logos, signatures or bar codes. Although laser micro fabrication is well known, it is only excimer and UV laser that have been used so far to produce microstructures systems in plastic in very good quality. The use of CO2 laser systems instead of the UV lasers and excimer lasers could provide a cost-effective alternative. A good example is production of micro fluidic systems in PMMA substrate (micro fluidic systems are used for various kinds of bio-chemical analyses, such a waste water monitoring, and for medical application). And also the laser machining is very good and chip alternative of the replication method include hot embossing and injection moulding
