  • Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit vliv modifikovaného montmorillonitu (MMT) na stabilitu fólií směsí Surlyn/jíl v biotickém prostředí. Jako polymerní matrice byl použit Surlyn# 9721, kopolymer polyetylénu a kyseliny metakrylové neutralizované Zn2+ ionty. Plnivem byl CLOISITE 20A, kvartérní amoniovou solí komerčně modifikovaný montmorillonit. Biologická stabilita byla sledována v aerobním vodném prostředí. Pro inokulaci vodného prostředí a intenzifikaci procesů byl použit aktivovaný kal z městské čistírny odpadních vod. Z hlediska infračervené spektroskopie a biologické spotřeby kyslíku nebyl zaznamenám žádný rozdíl ve stabilitě mezi čistým a MMT modifikovaným Surlynem# 9721. (cs)
  • The objective of this work was to evaluate influence of a 7% addition of modified montmorillonite (MMT) on stability of Surlyn/clay films in a biotic environment. The polymeric matrix was Surlyn# 9721, a copolymer of polyethylene and metacrylic acid neutralised with Zn2+ ions. Filler was CLOISITE 20A, montmorillonite commercially modified with quaternary ammonium salt. Biological stability was studied in an aerobic aqueous environment under standard conditions. Activated sludge from the municipal wastewater treatment plant was employed for inoculating the aqueous environment and intensifying processes. Infra-red spectroscopy and biological oxygen demand recorded no difference in stability between pure and MMT-modified Surlyn# 9721.
