Description
| - Nanocomposites of extrusion-type Surlyn ionomer and intercalated sodium-type of montmorillonite were compounded on a KO-kneader and measured on a modified capillary rheometer for strain rate vs. pressure dependencies of shear and elongational viscosities for various clay concentrations (0, 1, 3, 5 wt %). The modified White-Metzner model was employed to simultaneously fit the viscosity data and determine pressure coefficients, which have been found to decrease with the loading level of the nanocomposites. Increasing relaxation times with rising filler content indicate earlier onsets of non-Newtonian behaviour under shearing and hardening at strain.

- V této práci byly studovány tlakové závislosti smykové a elongační viskozity nanokompozitu na bázi Surlynu a montmorillonitu a to na základě tlakového koeficientu. Bylo zjištěno, že tlakový koeficient klesá s rostoucím podílem nanoplniva, zatímco relaxační čas v tomto případě roste, což indikuje dřívější nástup nenewtonského chování. (cs)
