Description	A special system and methodology for safe processing of suspicious finds with unknown content have been developed and optimized in the Laboratory of Toxic Compounds, National Institute for NBC Protection. Presented system enables safe opening of suspicious finds, sampling of content and its identification and elimination. The processing is carried out inside a special pressure-resistant reactor. Operations in the reactor are performed by means of remote-controlled device and supporting components. Content released from opened container into reactor is sampled and analysed, preferably by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry technique. On the basis of the identification step, an appropriate method for content elimination is finally utilized. Presented system and methodology are suitable for safe processing of all kinds of potentially dangerous finds containing highly toxic chemicals and CWAs.
