Description
  • The first experimental investigation of transient SRS in the artificial diamond crystal pumped by picosecond Nd:YAG pulses is presented. For 530 nm wavelength pumping the threshold of the first Stokes frequency generation was obtained at the pumping energy of aprox. 150 uJ. The second Stokes generation started at approx. 500 uJ. Single pass threshold intensity and gain of the first Stokes frequency generation was estimated as 779 MW/cm2 and 64 cm/GW, respectively.
