  • The aim of the work was to compare the influence of low and high power of Er:YAG laser radiation used for treatment of dental tissue. The focused Er:YAG laser radiation, for the case of free-running or Q-switched pulses, respectively, was delivered on sections of extracted human incisor and premolars by a cyclic olefin polymer-coated silver hollow glass waveguide (700 um inner diameter). GRADIA(R) DIRECT (GC, Japan) LoFlo Light-Cured, high viscosity flowable HDR microfilled hybrid composite was used for restorations. The pulse length and intensity of the Er:YAG laser radiation had direct influence on the quality not only of the surface structure but also on the bond to restorative material. In the case of long pulse treatment, the large retentive surfaces with the sealed dentinal tubules were found. For the short intensive Q-switched pulses, clean and fully open dentinal tubules were found.

  • Cílem práce bylo srovnání vlivu nízko a vysoko výkonového Er:YAG laserového záření na zubní tkáň. Fokusované Er:YAG laserové záření v režimu volné generace nebo Q-spínání bylo přeneseno na vzorek řezáku a premoláru pomocí COP/Ag dutého skleněného vlnovodu 9vnitřní průměr 700 um). Pro obnovu dutiny byl použit GRADIA(R) DIRECT (GC, Japan) vysoko viskozitní hybridní kompozit. Na kvalitu povrchové struktury ale i na vazbu obnovujícího materiálu měla přímý vliv pulsní délka a intenzita Er:YAG laserového záření. V případě dlouhého pulsu se objevil velký uzavřený povrch se zatavenými dentálními tubuly. Pro krátké pulsy byli pozorovány čisté a plně otevřené tubuly. (cs)
